Mental Health Law of the Kyrgyz Republic and its Implementation
Summary
This report is intended to examine the extent to which the mental health law and practice in Kyrgyz Republic complies with international standards, to provide recommendations to the Kyrgyz government. The report was prepared at the request of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The report examines the system of mental health care in the Kyrgyz Republic, evaluates the current laws regarding the provision of mental health services and the protection of the rights of individuals receiving mental health services.
